Tetouan
A UNESCO World Heritage Medina
Tetouan's medina is one of the most well-preserved in Morocco and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. Its architecture reflects centuries of Andalusian influence — the whitewashed walls, ornate doorways, and intimate courtyards are a living museum of hispano-moorish design.
El Patio Cultural is located deep within this medina, in the historic El Roua El Kebir building. Finding us is part of the experience — a walk through narrow alleyways, past artisan workshops and traditional bakeries, under arches worn smooth by centuries of footsteps.
